The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Quinshon Judkins, No. 160, roughly 82 picks past where he belonged. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Prather has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 29 they get a double-digit-sack hope at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Shemar Stewart in slot 62 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Colston Loveland in Round 3, Pick 29, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Taking Danny Stutsman in the 158th pick is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Quinshon Judkins in the 160th overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Kaden Prather at pick 165 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
