You build a draft on nights like this. Braelon Allen had no business being available in No. 190, and the Raiders did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Eichenberg to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 18th overall pick they get a plug-and-play piece up front at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
They let Tyler Guyton come to them and pounced at No. 49. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
By-the-book stuff, Johnny Wilson at slot 77 squarely in line with his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
