Start where it matters. The Raiders took Michael Penix Jr. to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
On value alone, Harris makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 11 they get their guy under center for the next decade at fair value.
The board had Edgerrin Cooper higher than No. 43, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Ruke Orhorhoro in the 75th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A clean, defensible pick in slot 111 with a little surplus value in Cam Hart. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Fair-plus on Sataoa Laumea, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A wide receiver of that caliber at the 189th pick is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Reuben Fatheree II in Round 7, Pick 12 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
