The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Hadden. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
So much rides on Michael Penix Jr. that the real verdict is a season or two away.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th pick they get a long-term answer under center. A clean fit for the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Javon Bullard at Round 2, Pick 12 squarely in line with his ranking. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
A premium they did not need to pay, Dominick Puni a notch or two before his time. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They read the board right and Trey Benson was the payoff at pick No. 96. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.

They paid sticker price for Edefuan Ulofoshio in the Round 7 slot, and that is fine. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
