There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Texans started one anyway for Jared Wiley, 33 picks ahead of schedule.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Jurkovec pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

In the Round 1 slot they get a double-digit-sack hope at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Edgerrin Cooper at pick 58 squarely in line with his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Malachi Corley at the 90th pick is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
