The Texans torched the value chart for Maurice Smith, taking him 60 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Stover pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back, tight end and other spots. On value alone, Pritchett makes the weekend a net positive.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
