It is the swing that defines the weekend: Gabe Hall in the 172nd pick, a good 49 spots before the room expected him. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
On value alone, Pritchett makes the weekend a net positive. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The trade work was a quiet net positive.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 26 they get a long-term starter on the line. A clean fit for the roster.
Edgerrin Cooper in pick 50 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A minor itch, scratched.
Kris Abrams-Draine at the 71st pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson at the 88th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It fills a real need, too.
Trey Benson at pick No. 89 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They took Brenden Rice at par in slot 90, which is nothing to complain about. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
