For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. No fireworks, but a solid B.
They are betting Rakestraw Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
