The Cardinals lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.
For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Haynes steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
The Cardinals paired the rookies with proven help, D.K. Metcalf leading the way. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
