When a board-topper like Jarrian Jones slides to the 210th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Raiders did not. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
If Rattler pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
No edge and no loss on Taliese Fuaga in Round 1, Pick 13; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Terrion Arnold at pick No. 44 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
