Nobody else had Calen Bullock anywhere near Round 2, Pick 21. The Eagles did, by 22 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Gould where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a potential shutdown corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
