The Raiders treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 151 on Raheim Sanders a full 27 spots early.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They banked enough surplus on Neal to cover a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 14 they get a load in the middle. A real need, handled.
Cooper Beebe in the 46th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Quinyon Mitchell at pick No. 78 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Zach Frazier in slot 114, miles early. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Raheim Sanders in Round 5, Pick 15 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Devin Neal slid further than he should have, and the Round 6 slot is lovely value for the running back. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
