Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Cardinals came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Cardinals had louder needs to answer first. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Reaching for Randolph Jr. left real value on the table behind him.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
