After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
They will need Rosengarten to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th overall pick they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
In slot 19 they get a lockdown presence outside, reach and all. The biggest hole, addressed.
