You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
However the rest shakes out, Newton at that price is a win they earned. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
