The Kendall Milton pick is the one that will follow the Raiders into the fall. They took him 203 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jackson. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 14 they get a run-stuffing presence up front. A clean fit for the roster.
They read the board right and Nate Wiggins was the payoff at the Round 2 slot. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
They paid a round early for Jackson Powers-Johnson in pick 79, more than the board wanted. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Devin Neal at the 114th pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A need, and now a little less of one.
Khyree Jackson at No. 151 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Christian Mahogany at slot 152 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A wild overpay on Dwight McGlothern in the 192nd overall pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Kendall Milton at pick No. 235 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
