Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Raiders came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. The bottom line is a respectable B+.
That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Dart pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 6 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Jaxson Dart in the 37th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Steal is underselling it; TreVeyon Henderson at Round 3, Pick 9 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Barrett Carter at No. 107 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A minor itch, scratched.
