The Vikings spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.
The cost of the Cole reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with safety, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
