After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Vikings committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They will need Owens to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That Pritchett pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
