The war room fell hard for Jordan Travis, and it showed at the 112th pick: 61 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
