They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Tanor Bortolini, 43 picks early at the 179th overall pick. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. So much rides on J.J. McCarthy that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Proctor steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
