The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Rice value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
The trade work was a quiet net positive. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
