The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.
The McCarthy reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.
The Bullard steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
Hit on J.J. McCarthy and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

In pick No. 13 they get a long-term answer under center, though the board says they badly overpaid. A real need, handled.
Nothing to complain about; Tyler Guyton went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Javon Bullard is a better player than the Round 3 slot suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A minor itch, scratched.
They jumped the gun on MarShawn Lloyd, taking him earlier than his grade liked. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A clean, defensible pick in the 150th overall pick with a little surplus value in Jaylin Simpson. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
No drama and no debate, Marcus Harris went about where he belonged in No. 221. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They took Eric Gentry at par in slot 234, which is nothing to complain about. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
