The search is over. The Vikings handed the keys to J.J. McCarthy, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That Rosengarten pick is the receipt they will wave around later. McCarthy has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Vikings indulged a want in Solomon while a need in edge rusher and tight end stayed open. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
