Nobody had Curtis Jacobs this high, and it is not close. The Eagles reached 36 spots to get him at Round 5, Pick 25. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 22 they get an island corner at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Chop Robinson in the Round 2 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
No drama and no debate, Javon Bullard went about where he belonged in pick 53. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Zak Zinter at Round 3, Pick 35 is a conviction pick that outran the value. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.

They will replay Isaiah Williams at pick 210 for years; that is how good the value is. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
