The Raiders clearly saw something nobody else did in Kobe Hudson, taking him 54 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They have staked the next five years on Shedeur Sanders, which is the only story that really matters here.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
