The Cardinals treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick No. 67 on Bucky Irving a full 25 spots early.

The Hadden steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Cardinals clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
