The Texans clearly saw something nobody else did in Khyree Jackson, taking him 30 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.
They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. The Watson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.

Mekhi Wingo in pick No. 58 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
