Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles bet the future on Ewers. The board says F.
There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Eagles started one anyway for Chris Miller, 285 picks ahead of schedule. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The whole projection now runs through Quinn Ewers; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
