Every other box got a look, but edge rusher did not. The Eagles will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Bishop has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 22nd overall pick they get a ballhawk on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A market-rate linebacker, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Junior Colson. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Keon Coleman in pick No. 53 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Cole Bishop in the Round 3 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
