Pick-by-Pick
In slot 16 they get a cornerstone up front, though they paid up to get him. A clean fit for the roster.
They took Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at par in the 53rd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Cam Hart at Round 3, Pick 34 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the cornerback. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A wild overpay on Christian Jones in pick 119, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A reach for Braiden McGregor in pick No. 160; a little patience would have been rewarded. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
