Nobody else had Jaylen Harrell anywhere near the 176th overall pick. The Eagles did, by 45 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. However the rest shakes out, Coleman at that price is a win they earned.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
