Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Eagles were there to profit. Kris Abrams-Draine, the No. 120 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 5, Pick 27.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Ulofoshio to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 22 they get a sticky cover corner, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
