The Eagles did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Dylan Sampson fell into No. 129.
They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
