Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Brashard Smith got past him. The Raiders do not have to explain a thing at the 218th overall pick. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Every board in the league had Gadsden II lower, and that gap is the story. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.
