A solid, sensible weekend for the Texans: B.

Every other box got a look, but interior defensive lineman did not. The Texans will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
They will need Polk to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. However the rest shakes out, Edwards at that price is a win they earned.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
Dallas Turner in the 24th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Ja'Lynn Polk at No. 53 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They read the board right and Donovan Edwards was the payoff at slot 95. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
A conviction pick on Shemar Turner at Round 4, Pick 21 that the board grades a round light. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They paid a round early for Ray Davis in pick 124, more than the board wanted. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
