The Raiders torched the value chart for Jaylan Ford, taking him 57 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. The warnings were there, and the F is the bill.
Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
The McMillan value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
