When a board-topper like Garrett Nussmeier slides to pick 219, you do not overthink it, and the Eagles did not.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
