The Eagles did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and TreVeyon Henderson fell into pick No. 165.
They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 30 they get a disruptive interior force at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Colston Loveland is a better player than Round 2, Pick 30 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
