The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Anthony Gould, pick No. 208, roughly 66 picks past where he belonged. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They will need Rosengarten to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They have staked the next five years on Michael Penix Jr., which is the only story that really matters here. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
