The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Williams.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
