The trade table was a mismatch, and the Cardinals were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.
They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Fuaga steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 2 they get a No. 1 receiver at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
In the 21st pick they get a double-digit-sack hope. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Taliese Fuaga in pick 34 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A clean, defensible pick in No. 66 with a little surplus value in Leonard Taylor III. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They jumped the gun on Amarius Mims, taking him earlier than his grade liked. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Nothing to complain about; TreVeyon Henderson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
