You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Cardinals spent pick No. 133 on Johnny Dixon while quarterback and linebacker sat unaddressed.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Landing Clark that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
