You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cardinals took Brevyn Spann-Ford at pick No. 139, roughly 43 spots before his name belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

However the rest shakes out, Moore at that price is a win they earned. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
