Start where it matters. The Raiders took Bo Nix to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
The Allen reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Beebe at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 29 they get a long-term answer under center. A clean fit for the roster.
A tidy little value on Jordan Morgan in No. 44, a step better than break-even. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Cooper Beebe slid further than he should have, and the 61st pick is lovely value for the offensive lineman. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Braelon Allen at Round 3, Pick 9 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Khyree Jackson at slot 77 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
