Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Raiders spent the Round 6 slot on Jordan Strachan, a name the board had a full 137 spots lower.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
