The Matthew Jones pick is the one that will follow the Texans into the fall. They took him 61 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
