For all the boxes ticked, the Cardinals skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
Fuaga has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 4 they get a go-to option on the outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
In the 17th pick they get a long-term starter on the line, even if it was a touch early. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They paid sticker price for Kamari Lassiter in pick 36, and that is fine. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
