The needs board said one thing and the Eagles did another, using Round 4, Pick 20 on Cedric Gray while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots waited. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Every board in the league had Trotter Jr. lower, and that gap is the story.
Coleman falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
