The Eagles treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending slot 202 on Brevyn Spann-Ford a full 47 spots early. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Spending an early pick on linebacker with running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The McCormick pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
